About Super - Girl and my DIABETES

I am a teen with type 1 Diabetes. I have had Diabetes for about 10 years! At first my parents did it all for me, but now that I'm older I have to do most of iy myself. When I was younger I was under control and happy. Now my A1C is about 11.2! My doctors are worried about me, so they have been trying to get me to keep a log of all of my blood sugars. As you can probbly tell by my A1C I have not exactly done this. And the nagging my family gives me does not help the matter!!!! I had an insulin pump for 2 years. 3 days after Thanksgiving I was takken to the Emergency Room. It turns out that I went into DKA (diabetic ketoasidosis). I was taken off my pump and put back on injections, along with a 4 day stay in the hospital! That was about 7 months ago. I'm now BEGGING my parents for an OmniPod.
